HAWTHORNE VALLEY
FARMSCAPE ECOLOGY PROGRAM:
MAPPING POM'S CABIN FARM

Claudia Knab-Vispo and Conrad Vispo from the Hawthorne Valley Farmscape Ecology Program have been visiting Pom's Cabin Farm annually in recent years to create ecological mapping of the land, with specific attention to our native meadows. The Farmscape Ecology team documents vascular plants, butterflies, dragonflies, ground beetles, native bees, ants and more. Photographs and narrative below are the result of a summer 2017 inventory of species.
